They were developed by Dr. Achilefu, a Nigerian-born surgeon living in the United States. They allow doctors to differentiate between cancerous cells and healthy cells.<\/span><\/p>\n

World-renowned expert in the development and use of photosensitive drugs for cancer detection, imaging, and therapy. He also discovered a new paradigm for cancer treatment using a special type of low, non-pharmacological drug doses to selectively trigger cancer cell death without harming healthy tissue. These and many other innovations have resulted in the issuance of 59 patents.\u00a0<\/span>Americans\u00a0<\/span>and more than 300 scientific articles.<\/span>
