African fashion, very creative and copied, but economically sterile.

Its total absence in the world of international ready-to-wear is mainly due to the disinterest of African financial institutions: banks, investment funds, financing and guarantee organizations, completely absent from the market. However, Western investment funds own the biggest global brands and, ironically, internationally renowned Afro-descendant designers.

African fashion must undergo its renaissance, which is that of its industrialization, and for this it has a crucial need for investors.

The New World Fashion Fund's original concept aims to showcase the talent of African and Afro-descendant designers by creating a financial platform where, during a private cocktail reception, we will invite 40 ready-to-wear boutiques, 10 manufacturers, and investors. This show will be broadcast live on Facebook and Instagram to reach an international audience of buyers, manufacturers, investors, and pre-selected ready-to-wear boutiques.

Its second objective is to encourage African financial institutions to create an investment fund so that the continent's fashion can live out its own identity, without external proxies and... without cultural appropriation.

The Future of Fashion is Written in Afro-Major

The American Virgil Abloh, who died in 2021, former men's artistic director at LOUIS VUITTON, and the Frenchman Olivier Rousteing, Artistic Director at PIERRE BALMAIN, only confirm the leading role that Afro-descendants occupy in artistic creativity.

The endless talent of African and Afro-descendant creators and our unwavering determination,  as well as your support as members and donors or sponsors can only guarantee success in the distribution networks.
