Lupita Nyong'o

Film actress and model

Revealed in Steve McQueen's film "Twelve Years a Slave" for which she received an Oscar in 2014, the Kenyan and Mexican actress has become an icon of black beauty in recent years.

In 2014, invited to the "Black Women in Hollywood" event, Lupita Nyong'o encouraged black women to feel beautiful in a powerful speech that had a global impact.

She appeared on numerous prestigious covers and even became the face of the Lancôme brand the same year.

The young actress is truly an activist at heart! Long before that, in 2008, she won an award at the African Film Festival in Mexico City for her documentary on albinos, "In My Genes," in which she highlighted the daily difficulties experienced by this minority.
